Welcome to the limacat.jar page. It is a personal Java library.
Here I will test and release many random java code snippets, more or less
dependant on other libraries and java-related technologies. This project
is not meant ultimately to be useful per se as a framework, but more as an
example of Java and OOP.
I decided to start this project more to acquaint myself with Java, and with
cvs development. It will be updated really often, so when you see an update,
you may be certain that something somewhere has got broken. However, since
my library is open-source, you are free to take it and to put inside a
framework you like, as stable as you like it =*).
However, if you stick with me, you will be able to see me trying to use
stuff like Ant, Avalon, et cetera...
Enjoy!
News
- 15 March 2002 If all goes well Software
release 0.0.0.3 should be online. Also a new separate jar
has been uploaded :).
- 13 March 2002 Basing myself on a friend's project, I started
the "ThinkAhead" minigame... it isn't on CVS yet because I want to have
a working copy, before putting it in the limacat.jar distribution.
F.Y.I. ThinkAhead is based on that simple game with rows and columns,
where the players had to catch the best numbers on the
current row or column, and had to push the opponent to get the worst ones.
- 5 March 2002 Software
release 0.0.0.2. Today's entry could have been similar to
the last one :) ... however, yesterday I couldn't upload my files to sf,
so I uploaded them today. Sorry for the inconvenience... On the
other hand today I completed a major feat: designing a doubled linked
list (where stuff is pushed and popped like on a stack). Tomorrow I will
implement the insertion-sort... then I will get back to studying cycle,
and it will be Junit time first, and Thinking In Java's next chapters
then...
- 4 March 2002 Software
release 0.0.0.1
- 2 March 2002 The first software
release. Website opened too =*)
